Directions for use ~ Paw & Snout

Scrape a small amount of balm out using the back of your thumbnail or a Charming Charlie's Magical Balm Scoop (sold seperately) and place it into the palm of your hand. To apply, gently rub it between your fingers and palms to warm it. This will help soften it enough to massage into your dog's paws or snout with your fingers. When applying it to the paws, work it between the paw pads for complete coverage.

In the winter, applying a thicker layer to the bottom of the paws and massaging it into the pads and hair in between will help keep snow clumps off. This type of application uses more than average.

Since balms contain oil, they can make dogs’ paws slippery on slick surfaces. This can be a more significant issue with senior dogs who may need more traction due to arthritis, so let the product(s) dry a little before the dog walks around or plays.

Beeswax hardens or softens depending on the temperature, so storing it at room temperature in the cupboard is best. If the container is exposed to cold temps and the wax is hard, scoop some out and hold it in your palm until it softens or allow the container to warm up before using. Likewise, if summer heat begins to melt the wax, stick it in a cooler or fridge to harden.

Apply paw balm and snout salve 2 to 3 times a day until the affected area improves, then daily to maintain (if needed).

Apply paw wax as needed for the conditions encountering.

WARNING - For external use only, avoid contact with eyes. Rinse with water if contact occurs.
